Race For The Roses 5K!!!

I ran my first 5K race last Sunday! It was amazing!!! I've always wanted to be a runner but couldn't get past 5 minutes before I would get a stitch in my side. So my brother-in-law challenged me to a 5K on my treadmill. Being the competitor I am I took him up on it. Boy was I shocked when I actually ran the whole 3.1 miles without stopping!

So I entered my first official race and now I'm hooked!!! I came in #399 of #1060:) Not to bad:) My next race will be The Portland Cinco De Mayo 10K on May 2. That's over 6 miles....whew...I've only run 4 so far so I guess I better practice:)
